The Biostatistician / Data Manager will join the Tuberculosis research group, providing statistical and data management support across the group’s research portfolio and developing data analysis and management plans for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Statistical Support & Analysis: Provide statistical support and perform quantitative data analysis across all TB research projects.
Data Planning: Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans and Data Management Plans for group initiatives.
Data Processing: Handle, process, and manage complex data, large datasets, and big data within health research contexts.
Requisitos
Educational Background: Higher education degree in Statistics or a related field (a biomedical degree is highly valued).
Professional Experience & Skills:
Sound knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics.
Proven experience processing and managing complex datasets, large datasets, and big data.
Previous experience in epidemiological, medical, or laboratory sciences is an advantage.
Technical Tools:
Strong programming skills in main data management and statistical software, preferably R or STATA.
Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish. Fluency in Portuguese is highly valued.
