The HR Officer supports the execution of the Country Program (CP) HR strategy and operational plans. The position provides responsive service across recruitment, staff development, performance management, employee relations, compensation, onboarding, policies, staff care, and employee administration.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Operations: Support the HR Manager or Head of Operations in overall HR management, coordinating processes to align with agency, donor, and local legal standards.
Managerial Support & Advice: Assess service needs and provide quality guidance to managers regarding their daily staff management responsibilities.
- Policy & System Development: Collect input on HR policies and assist in updating manuals, guidelines, and tools
- Staff Development: Assess professional development needs and help organize targeted training programs for CRS staff and partners
Records & HRIS Management: Maintain personnel files and HRIS data in compliance with regulations, and assist with analytical reports and HR metrics for workforce planning.
Requisitos
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration (additional relevant experience and HR certifications/courses can substitute for some education).
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in HR, preferably with an International or local NGO.
Knowledge & Skills: Solid experience with employment laws, regulations, and local labor law in Mozambique.
Strong relationship management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, and HRIS
