Action contre la Faim (ACF) is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to ending world hunger. Present in Mozambique since 2021, ACF delivers humanitarian assistance to populations affected by armed conflict and extreme climate events across Cabo Delgado and Gaza provinces, combining emergency response with long-term resilience and community development.

Reporting directly to the Area Coordinator (Pemba), the Field Coordinator leads the Mueda field base. The role oversees field-level strategy execution, security management, team leadership, program implementation, and institutional representation with local authorities and humanitarian partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Program Coordination: Coordinate the implementation of ACF’s country strategy and overall program delivery at the field level (North base).
Team & Base Management: Manage the field team and foster collaborative relationships between field operations and the regional/coordination teams.
External Representation: Represent ACF and liaise with regional authorities, UN agencies, and local/international NGOs.
Security & Reporting: Direct security management for staff and assets while ensuring accurate operational reporting and communication.
Requisitos
Educational Background: Master’s degree in Development, Humanitarian Aid, International Relations, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of field experience in humanitarian project management (e.g., Grants Manager, Program Manager, Program Coordinator, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in project cycle management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong experience in stakeholder and partner engagement.
Sectoral Expertise: Knowledge in one or more ACF operational sectors: Nutrition & Health, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL), Emergency Response, or MHPSS-GP.
Languages: Fluency in English. Ability to speak Portuguese (or commitment to learn during the mission; working proficiency in Spanish or Italian is an advantage).
Employment Conditions:
National Applicants: 12-month contract aligned with ACF Mozambique internal salary scale and national conditions.
International Applicants: 12-month contract under French legislation. Monthly gross salary (€2,597 – €2,968 depending on experience), per diem and living allowance (€839 net/month), country allowance (€450/month), 100% medical/repatriation coverage, housing/transportation, and paid leaves/RnR package.
